The first time I needed help was the day before Thanksgiving last year. I have an old GE front-loading stacked unit. The drum’s belt snapped, and the local appliance parts store said they weren’t able to order the belt that I needed. I called Durkin and spoke to his wife, who was extremely helpful and friendly 😊. I was not expecting them to offer to come out the same day, and was VERY grateful to them. They gave me a call 10mins prior to their arrival to let me know they were on their way, and showed up on time. Rich repaired the issue and my dryer has been working great again ever since. I believe I paid no more than $75.
The second time was for a client’s dryer at work. The machine was running, but producing little heat. I called Durkin when they opened, and explained my issue. Rich provided me with two reasons that may be causing this, and quoted me two separate prices (depending on what the issue was). He let me know he would be out the SAME DAY, and set up a time. He and his wife again, gave me a courtesy call when they were 10 mins out, and arrived on time 😀. It turned out to be a crap ton of lint that fell down and collected inside the dryer, blocking the heat. He noticed that we had a broken part (dryer drum wouldn’t stop when on and door was opened) and replaced that for us as well!
I have experienced quite the OPPOSITE of what any bad reviews on this company have complained about. Please look no further if you need honest, fair-priced, prompt repair service! Thank you guys.
